Featuring double layer, 5mm Poplar Plywood-reinforced with 1/16” thick steel punch plate and 1” aluminum plates on either side- wrapped in bonded canvas and bordered with 9-10oz leather covering.

Triple layer 5mm Poplar Plywood glued and canvased with fully 9-10oz leather border. Aluminum edging also offered.
AXES
ONE & TWO-HANDED AXES (click for dropdown info)
Hafts are made of white oak, laminated with waterproof PVA. Axe head is wrapped in glue and canvas then covered with hemp. Ranging from 6”-20” hafts. For the ultimate in strength and durability, two fiberglass mesh layers are inserted between the wood slats and epoxied into place. The order will vary depending on the final thickness of the haft, but typically it will be two layer of wood, a layer of fiberglass mat, a layer of wood, a layer of fiberglass matt and two layers of wood.For more details on our haft production methods, please visit this link. When ordering your very own bonk stick, we REQUIRE adding a note at checkout regarding haft length AND axe or mace head shape. Please refer to our charts below to determine which axe head you would prefer, and leave a comment in the notes portion at checkout.
